Sunscoop Display at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre, Swindon

With an estimated 20,000 people building their own homes in Britain each year, self builders are now the country’s leading developer and renovation projects are on the rise with 42% of homeowners looking to renovate or extend their properties. With this in mind Glidevale felt that this would be an ideal showcase for their Sunscoop Tubular rooflights.

The Sunscoop tubular Rooflight is on display in the bathroom of the renovation house in the Renovation Zone. The renovation zone has a full sized house showing the transformation from wreck to fully renovated home using a range of energy saving products.

The National Self Build & Renovation Centre opened on 7 February 2007 in Swindon, Wiltshire and has a dual role of helping educate people interested in self building and renovation and ensuring those actively building can find all the services and materials they will need.

The centre is open all year round and includes a lecture theatre, which hosts seminars, themed events and product demonstrations.
