A new option to protect and screen wall outlets has been developed by Glidevale Ltd.

Glidevale DuraCowl is an economical yet highly durable, slimline covering that simply screw-fixes to the wall over the extract or wall outlet, to disguise and protect it. Discreet aluminium grilles not only ensure the outlet or vent continue to function effectively, but are designed to simultaneously prevent ingress of debris and nesting insects.

Manufactured from ABS to withstand accidental or deliberate damage and AA fire rated, the DuraCowl is available in a choice of five standard colours, and can be colour matched for new build applications. The polymeric colour finish is fade resistant and will not flake.

Each DuraCowl is supplied complete with vandal resistant, security fixing screws and plugs.

Glidevale is part of the Building Product Design Group, which specialises in developing innovative yet practical roofing and ventilation products in line with changing requirements.
